Product Introduction: Competitive Analysis
    A global software company was developing a new niche product
    for the surveillance market. They wanted to size the market
    opportunity for a specialized solution that seemingly had just a
    handful of competitors.  They needed to identify target market
    segments and gain insight into competitive positioning for
    success. They looked to AgileValue to provide new ideas and
    take a fresh look at what applications the new technology could
    support.

    Our assessment showed that the new product may not compete
    directly against the established vendors. The product features
    made it suitable for applications beyond the competitors’ reach.
    We identified potential applications in retail marketing, safety and
    dispatch services at campuses and large institutions. We created
    a go-to-market strategy and continue to provide ongoing
    assistance with implementation.

New Service Planning: Market Analysis
    A highly successful B2B software company was developing an
    idea for an innovative online B2C service—certainly a new world
    for them.  Initially the team needed to validate the market
    opportunity and competitive landscape.  And because the new
    service was still on the drawing board, they wanted to be sure of
    its competitive differentiation and opportunities for monetization.

    We quickly identified that this service fits into a very dynamic
    market that has developed over several years. Well-known and
    well-funded players have recently entered this new market.  We
    learned that there was no clear market leader, yet the market
    opportunity is extremely large.  We delivered a strategic marketing
    plan in parallel with the product planning and development
    process.

Product Positioning: Marketing Videos
    A successful data services company was looking to greatly
    improve their online video marketing.  We assisted in the
    production of three marketing videos to introduce the offerings’
    main features and business applications. The goal was to create
    easy-to-absorb and visually compelling material that would
    reinforce branding, highlight functionality, and describe just how
    easily the service can be used.

    We contributed the marketing messages for this content. Our
    responsibilities included the tone, wording, business perspective
    and technical correctness of the videos. We collaborated with
    three overseas production teams, partly managing the creative
    and production processes. The collaboration yielded unique,
    creative and original videos through a fun project.

New Business Idea: Funding Package
    After having consulted to a successful B2B software company on
    the introduction of an innovative online service, they were ready to
    begin the fundraising process. The client needed a package of
    information to pitch the new business idea to investors.

    We provided a complete package including the executive
    summary, competitive analysis, revenue model, revenue
    projections, go-to-market strategy, sales distribution strategy,
    staffing, funds usage and exit strategy. Our consultation provided
    a detailed analysis sizing the market opportunity, target markets
    and competition.  In addition, we provided market messaging
    including descriptors, elevator pitch and taglines designed to
    highlight the competitive differentiators for the new service.
